Je suis au Mexique cette semaine !

I've been in Cancun since Tuesday, and it's fabuleux, or more appropriately, in this case, fabuloso!

The gorgeous blue ocean contrasting with the white sand, the warm temps, humidity and tropical breeze, are heavenly! Im convinced that I would get along quite well in this climate and being close enough to the ocean where I can hear it every night, lulling me to sleep, as I have experienced for the last 2 nights here! I had to send a quick blog to share a few pics of this gorgeous place. I must also say that I have met some great people, and new friends here, from Mexico. Erik and I met Patricia and her parents our first night here at dinner where we were celebrating my birthday. Since that evening, we have had several enjoyable conversations with them. Patricia speaks very good english, so its been a blessing to visit with her, and her parents. We found that we have much in common! She loves to travel, and has a passion for antiques and handmade textiles! Go figure! It was meant to be, and now I have a wonderful friend and resource for antiques and handmade textiles that will fit in nicely with the type of exclusive vintage and french decor, I offer in my shop! Yes you might be surprised to know that there is authentic French and European decor and textiles to be found here, and the Mexican artisans hand make exquisite, all natural silk textiles that anyone would love to have in their collection, including moi!
